Event description
A weekly Dementia Carer Zoom Meeting has taken the place of our monthly local face to face meetings. These are now held on Thursdays from 14.00 – 14.40.
Support for Dementia Carers
Support for dementia carers is especially important during lockdown. There are more issues to contend with and we have to do things in different ways.
Who is it for?
Whether you are a former dementia carer or a current one we can help you. Former dementia carers have valuable experience to offer to others.
It doesn’t matter if the person you care for lives with you, is living independently, is in a care home or in hospital.
If you want to learn more about dementia or how to help someone else you know.
We also welcome other carers who might need a bit of support, as some of the issues we discuss are generic.
Join from anywhere
The great advantage of Zoom meetings is you can join us from anywhere. If you would like to share your issues with others who understand, or get some useful tips and information, contact us to get registered. We will get back to you with the information you need to join our meetings.
