Date & Time
14 December 2017
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Location
St Josephs Church hall, 96 Queen street, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12 2ET
Event description
If you are now or have been touched by dementia and would like to join our support group we would be very pleased to see you. You do not have to be living with the person and the dementia does not have to be diagnosed. There is no ‘catchment’ – if you are able to get here then you are very welcome. Free to attend. Tea/coffee/cake provided!
Who else might benefit?
If you are caring for a person with a different condition but would value some support then feel free to give it a try. Whilst dementia is our main area of expertise, some topics we cover are generic. It doesn’t matter whether or not you attend a church – this is a community support project.
Spread the word
Everyone is welcome, so if you know of a neighbour or a friend who might benefit please tell them. Our meetings are friendly, interactive and informative. Why not come along and see for yourself.
Sharing lunch
Our December meeting is going to be a bit different! We will be having a sharing lunch – so feel free to bring a small contribution if you are able. No need to worry if this is not possible – we are sure to have enough for everyone!
Different date
We meet generally on the first Thursday of the month, but our December meeting is on 14th – the second Thursday.
Just enter via the passage to the side of the church – the door at the end of the passage leads to the hall.
