Event description

Helping your group to support members and volunteers who may be experiencing memory loss

Community Voluntary Services (CVS) and 4 Dementia Carers  invite you to a free 3-hour session. We can help you and your organisation to tackle the challenges of memory loss and dementia.

We will give you practical skills to be more supportive to your members, service users, volunteers and staff.

Sessions are free and open to all, but booking is essential!

The session is in 3 parts and will cover:

• Dementia Friends – developing awareness and understanding
• Practical Steps – helping your club/organisation to be more inclusive
• Organisational Health Check – using policies and procedures to ensure equality, safety and continuity

4 Dementia Carers and Teignbridge CVS are delivering this training across a number of locations in Devon:

Monday 4th March, Tiverton

Wednesday 13th March, Barnstaple

Monday 18th March, Honiton

Friday 22nd March, Okehampton

Wednesday 27th March, South Brent

All sessions are 1.30 – 4.30pm
