Event description

Are you, or have you been, impacted by a person’s dementia? We can help you.

The person does not have to be diagnosed.

It doesn’t matter where you live, where the person with dementia lives or even if they are no longer with us. Dementia care is a very complex situation. Most people do not fully understand what they are going through and even if the person has passed, it can be very helpful to finally understand what you were going through. The grieving process regarding dementia is very different from other situations and very complex. It helps to understand it better.

This meeting will provide you with information, support and understanding. You will meet others in a similar position and feel less isolated. It is recognised that dementia carers are at a high risk to their mental health and wellbeing. We are here to help you.

We start with tea/coffee and home made cakes. Please Contact us in advance if possible, so that we can tailor the information to your needs.   There is no charge for attending.

If you know of any dementia carers who might benefit from attending, please tell them about our meeting.

If the date and time are unsuitable for you, please Contact us so that we can discuss other ways to support you. This could be by phone or via an online meeting.

Take care and we hope to see you soon.
